Developmental Math, Reading and Writing
Our Developmental programs were created to help students master the basic skills they need to be successful in college.
With Northstar Workforce Readiness, students can:

Our programs include automated instruction, feedback, and grading. Students start with diagnostic pre-tests to see the areas where they need the most improvement. They can then work at their own pace to master the essential skills they will need in college courses. Our program is structured into topics, with lessons and practice questions. As students answer questions in the program, an explanation is provided for each correct answer, so students can learn how the answer was reached. If a student struggles in a particular area, our “building block” topics will remediate the student so they can move forward.
Our Developmental Programs are also an affordable, effective way to prepare for college placement tests.
Northstar Workforce Readiness's Developmental Math, Reading and Writing programs are correlated to the skills tested on the COMPASS®, ASSET®, and ACCUPLACER® placement tests. If students are preparing for a placement test, developmental or remedial course, or just want to be better prepared for college-level coursework, Northstar Workforce Readiness provides the best way to study.
Developmental Math, and Developmental Reading and Writing programs may be purchased separately, or in a comprehensive package. Northstar Workforce Readiness can be purchased by students or educators.
