Access codes are given to schools that purchase a site license. Most schools have an administrator register their students and then distribute the usernames and passwords to the students, in which case an access code is not required. An authorization code will allow you to purchase products. If you have already purchased the product (through Amazon.com or another third party vendor), then you should have received an activation code.
